Leonard Owens
Leonard, head-professional at Royal Dublin since 1975, was awarded European PGA Professional of the Year in 2005 and has the status of Advanced Fellow of the Professional Golfers Association. He had a distinguished amateur career and represented Great Britain and Ireland at youth level. He played in over 100 European Tour events as a professional including nineteen Irish and three British Opens. He played on the Seniors Tour in 2001 and 2002.
Philip McLaughlin
Philip is the senior teaching pro whose philosophy is to keep it simple and focus on feel rather than technique. Philip also had a successful amateur career and represented his Country at boys and youth levels. He holds the course record 66 (-6) at his home course Ballyliffin Golf Club.
Paddy Devine
A product of the Island Golf Club, Paddy represented Leinster Boys at interprovincial level. He turned Professional in 2006 and competed on the Europrotour 2006 and 2007. Paddy qualified as a Class A PGA Professional in 2011. He won the 2009 PGA Fourball Championship and with his partner shot a tournament record score of 31 under par.
Golf Lessons
Teaching facilities include a pitching green with several bunkers, large practice putting green and green grass driving range, all of which allow for excellent coaching facilities.
