A Special Place

The Royal Dublin Golf Club was founded in 1885 making it one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland. The wooden bridge that connects the island to the mainland was built in 1819 and the Great North Wall, more popularly known as the Bull Wall, was completed by 1825. The Royal Dublin Golf Club covers some 65 hectares on the Bull Island Nature Reserve, a bird sanctuary and special amenity area of major scientific importance.

We are a true links course with a long and proud history, which we tell through the memorabilia in our beautifully refurbished clubhouse. We have a number of bars and dining areas in the clubhouse, including our balcony overlooking the 18th hole, perfect for a post-golf BBQ on a sunny evening.

Our location is stunning, offering views of Dublin Bay and a different perspective on the city. It couldn’t be more convenient, being just 20 minutes’ drive from Dublin city centre and 20 minutes from Dublin airport and the M50.

Picture Your Group Here

We are on hand every step of the way to create the perfect outing for you and your guests. Our classic package includes full use of our championship-quality practice facilities, on-course competitions, professional golf starter and of course a round of 18 holes at one of Ireland’s oldest golf link courses.

And if you are looking for something extra special, outings can be tailor made to treat your guests on the day.
